Yes it is! haha I randomly remembered your blog from journalism one time you mentioned it and decided to follow you!

  2. 84 Days

    Get me out of here

  3. Playlist for grad party is finished.

This party is too much work.

  4. For some reason when I look back on high school, these words come to mind. Not that I was a thief in ripped up jeans necessarily (I actually hate ripped jeans and refuse to go anywhere near them), but metaphorically I wasn’t the popular one. I shouldn’t have been in charge. I shouldn’t have won the election.
I mean the only reason I did was because people just hated my opponent a lot, but still. I really did feel that for a moment a thief in ripped up jeans got to rule the world (although in this case, the world = Trinity). I mean, have you seen a picture of me from the 6th grade? I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have talked to myself. I looked so so awful.
Whatever the reason, I’m still really thankful it happened. It was a life changing experience that meant a lot to me. I learned so much about myself.
Not that there’s anything wrong with next year’s leadership (I actually adore Hinkley a ton and am so happy he’s in charge), but I do hope that another “underdog” like me gets to be student body president one day.
I know I didn’t believe Nadd when he told me that it’s such a fulfilling, fun, gratifying experience, but it truly is, and I want someone else to be able to share those feelings like I did. I’m actually really going to miss it a lot :(

Manhattan from the Sky - Kate Voegele.

It always makes me really happy when I see that someone knows Kate Voegele because I love her, and she really needs to be more famous.

  7. Is Georgetown a good school?

Clearly you don’t think so if you’re asking, but it has the best program in the country for linguistics and international business (the latter is what I’m studying) so yes, it is a good school. It’s not an ivy league school, but it’s equal if not better in academics, it’s equivalently ranked, and it actually has better and more successful job placement after graduation than most ivies.
